Trouble with stained glass cross tissue bx cover pattern
I am a new to plastic canvas. I want to make stained glass cross my first project. I am really not sure where to start so that the crosses are the way they should be. Any advice?

Make a copy on your printer and darken the contrast, I made a lot of color changes.

Once you cut the pieces for the sides, count the stitches on the pattern for the color you are working with, both across and up & down. Then count the holes on the canvas that correspond to the pattern. Sew the first few stitches, then re-count the pattern and the canvas to be sure you're lined up properly. Counting stitches is VERY important, otherwise you'll come to the end and be off-centered. Be sure that all your stitches go in the same direction (unless otherwise indicated on a pattern).

I always start with the black outline, Then I fill in the colors with whatever color I wish to use. I often make them with sparkle or party yarn. It makes a beautiful stained- glass window. Ii have made at least fifty and they get easier the more you do of them. Like the other person commented - count your stitches!
Great gifts and good luck.
