Generally, a quick way to find out if a pattern is regular sized is if the finished product is 10" x 13" or less. Although, since artist sized sheets are getting harder to find, I've been designing patterns that are over 10" x 13" and are just put together using regular sheets of canvas. I would suggest tagging a pattern in question and ask, like you did with this chat. I hope this helps.
