I had thought to use plastic canvas white roses in stead of the wreath. I have a heart shaped red rose and when I put santa on it looked out of place with the red but with white I think I got something.

While I realize Christmas is past for 2011 and far ahead for 2012 I enjoyed making this Santa so much I have also done him is shades of blue and also purple. Not everyone uses the classic red, green and white themes anymore. With a cardborad backing added and a plate stand or paperclip added to the back, this can become a wall haning or display piece.
